Kirsten Payton became interested in photography during her junior year of high school. Her photography teacher at the time encouraged her to move forward with her love of the art. Not knowing if photography was what she truly wanted to do for the rest of her life, Kirsten decided to go to college. She played Division I volleyball for High Point University in North Carolina and the following year transfered to the University of Northern Colorado. She later graduated with a social science degree in May 2006. Upon graduation Kirsten was determined to finally get her education in what she truly loved and had been passionate about for so many years. She wanted to become a professional photographer. Shortly after graduating from college, Kirsten attended the Hallmark Institute of Photography where she learned the technical, artistic, and business skills necessary for success. She has since graduated and continues to apply her photographic skills and visual talent to her work. Kirsten looks forward to every challenging and successful moment in the photographic business.
